Special Olympics provides an all Ireland Sports training & competition programme for people with an intellectual disability.
What's Involved
This is a bucket collection which takes place nationwide. Volunteers will be expected to collect donations from the general public to support Special Olympics
What's required for this position
For this role volunteers should be approachable, with good communication skills and experience of dealing with the public would be an asset.

Volunteers will be allocated a location in their local area, this could be ouside shopping centres, at a junction, on the street and in areas with a heavy footfall

Our Annual Collection Day takes place nationwide and the money raised from this event funds our programme for adults and children with an intellectual disability in our region.
Getting there
We have local coordinators for each collection town. These coordinators will meet and greet volunteers and assign them their location.
