What's Involved

Support is needed for children and teenagers in Birr and Tullamore for English language and homework. One volunteer per child. The children and teenagers have different needs; English is not their first language and they need support with homework as well as reading, writing and speaking English. This support will take place in the family's home. Introductory meetings will take place.Time to be agreed between volunteer and families.

What's required for this position

Fluent English and a good grasp of written English. An ability to understand what is expected of the child or teenager for homework. An ability to go over what was studied in simple English.
